Comedy
The greatest comedy ever made is a difficult decision. But when you consider the ground that it broke and the paths it carved for future comedies, you would have to choose “The Kid” (1921). There were many great comedies that followed this one, but the formula established by this great movie has been followed for decades.
Horror

Adventure
The best adventure movie ever made is “Ben Hur” (1959). This epic tale of the life of a betrayed Jewish prince has been captivating audiences for many years. The chariot race scenes are some of the best action scenes ever filmed.
